This 68 acre site was acquired from the Ministry of Defence and working with the local Kirkburn Parish Council, residents and the East Riding of Yorkshire Council the site is now allocated in the Local Plan for 500 homes.

A planning application is currently being prepared and should be submitted in 2021 to bring this derelict former military base forward for development.
