Reserved Matters Planning submitted at Retford-based Northern Tower Retail Park
A planning application that outlines the details of the Northern Tower Retail Park in Retford has been submitted by leading development and investment group Strawson Property.
Situated just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre, the new retail development which is expected to generate over by providing 100 jobs in the local area 73,000 sq ft of high quality retail floorspace lease.
News regarding the next phase of the wider Northern Rubber site redevelopment project follows hot on the heels of the completion of the first stage of the scheme – a 26,000 sq ft manufacturing facility for the internationally recognised Icon Aerospace. Work is also underway on the groups state-of-the-art offices, and research and development facility for the company.
According to Brown & Co, the agent responsible for overseeing the marketing of the development, there has already been ‘considerable interest’ from an ‘exciting and diverse mix’ of potential tenants – spanning a number of retail sectors including grocery, fashion, home and DIY and general merchandise. We are hoping to be able to confirm a number of exciting occupiers in the next few weeks.

The next step in the regeneration project is the retail park development, which has already received considerable interest from major, recognisable brands who see the potential of such a prime location - situated alongside a prestigious, advanced manufacturing site, and easily accessible to residents in and around Retford.”
Further details regarding the confirmed tenants of the Northern Tower Retail Park and expected completion dates are scheduled to be released over the coming months.
